In this workshop, participants will:

  • Examine the differences between process and product in children’s artmaking

  • Explore creative sensory materials

  • Engage with art materials through the eyes of a young child

  • Take home ideas for low-cost and free ways to engage a child’s creative mind

The workshop is FREE, with childminding and snacks provided.  Register with Melyssa Sieber at melyssasieber@nklcss.org or 250-353-7691x306, or in person at Strong Start.

Offered by North Kootenay Lake Community Services Society and proudly sponsored by Columbia Basin Trust, West Kootenay Child Care Resource and Referral, and North Kootenay Lake Community Services Society.

**This session will also be an opportunity for families to purchase low-cost art and craft supplies from the CCRR--bring cash or cheque to take advantage of this mobile resource! Heather and Kathleen will be bringing the CCRR Toy Library as part of their visit, so if you have any items to return, you can bring them on the 6th!
