Our Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) report is complete and it's time to celebrate. We are bringing everyone together to present the results, share visions and gather feedback about specific actions we can take now to help North Kootenay Lake thrive.
The Kickstart Kaslo & Area event will be held on Wednesday Oct 21st in the Lighthouse Theatre at JVH School in Kaslo.
There will be a trade show starting at 6pm (free local food) with a presentation to follow. You will hear 5 community leaders speak their visions based on the report findings. You will then vote in real time to direct our Columbia Basin Trust funds towards achieving these specific results. You will also hear from Mayor Hewat and Director Watson with important updates from the Sustainable Economic Development Committee (SEDS). Come be heard and help give focus to important issues in our community!
Here is the list of our visionary speakers:
- Business Training – Dawn Lang
