Food Security Newsletter- January 28th

Childcare Emergency First Aid course

Learn the basics of child safety and CPR (level B). Other topics include choking, bleeding, broken bones, fever, bites & stings.

Kaslo Family Centre: Sunday, February 17th, 8:30 - 5:30.
Meadow Creek: Thursday, March 27th, 8:30-5:00.
Sliding scale: $ 50-80/person. Parents of children under 6 may be eligible for further financial assistance (cost of registration, childcare, transportation).

Parent-Child Mother Goose in Meadow Creek at Jewett school!

A free program for Dads and/or Moms and children under 6. Learn songs, stories and rhymes! Have fun, meet others and enhance your bond with your child! Mondays, January 7th-February 25th. 10:00-11:30 Snacks, childcare provided.

Parent and Child Time

Parent and Child Time (PACT) has started up again! Monday and Wednesday mornings, 9:30 to 11:30 at the Family Centre, 400 Front Street. Open to all parents and their children from birth to 6 years.

Jump and Run

Gym time for young children and their parents or caregivers. Starting Tuesday, October 9th. 9am to 10am at J.V. Humprhies School (small gym). Free. From more information call Barb Szuta at 353-7691.
